"I got my first chance since taking your writing workshops to edit a document. It was a lot of fun. The entire document was written in passive tense. I made suggestions on using second and third person as well as second person directive. I demonstrated where the doer of the action was unknown and would therefore generate a lot of confusion with the readers. I eliminated commas between independent clauses, showed where reflective pronouns were too far away from the noun to which they referred.
